Art
The use of arts and crafts in our classrooms help children develop fine motor skills, improves hand-eye coordination, increases socialization and boosts self-esteem.
Music
Music engages the brain while stimulating neural pathways associated with higher forms of intelligence such as abstract thinking, empathy and mathematics. Our children are exposed to different genres of music from around the world on a daily bases exposing them to various cultures.
Movement
Our classrooms are designed to allow children to move freely and explore the environment around them. 98% of children's brain develops within the first six years, physical movement such as dance and playing helps develop big growing muscles and establish a connection with external reality.
Language
Most of our teachers are bilingual and create lesson plans that develop language skills in both English and Spanish. Studies have shown that students that can speak and write multiple languages have a cognitive advantage over their monolingual peers.
Mathematics
Each child at our facility learns math that is age appropriate. Young toddlers start out by being able to recognize numbers. Three year olds learn to count while our fours and fives continue to strengthen their counting and recognition skills. Advance children learn simple math such as adding and subtracting.
Outside Play
Outside play is incorporated in the schedules of all children with the exception of infants. Children are able to enhance their five senses while exploring the natural environment around them.
